The technician was on time, professional, and very knowledgeable, he walked me through everything he found and even showed pictures of the inside of the flue so I could see the before and after.

Do you install and replace chimney caps?
Yes. We install stainless steel caps for single flues and for chimneys with several flues, and we replace rusted or damaged caps. More in when to replace a chimney cap.
How often should a chimney be cleaned and inspected?
NFPA 211, the national fire code for chimneys, calls for an inspection at least once a year, with cleaning when the inspection finds buildup. Fall, before the heating season, is the most common time. More in how often to clean a chimney.
